Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace Corporation is accepting applications for a 1st shift Breakout position at our Sumner, WA facility. The Breakout production employee removes bagging materials and plaster from composite parts and works 4:30 am to 3 pm, Monday through Thursday.

This full-time, non-exempt role includes PPE provided, competitive pay of $22.25–$26.25 per hour, and benefits such as medical, 401k with employer match, tuition reimbursement, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Read and follow detailed instructions.
• Intermediate to advanced math skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written.
• Able to identify defective materials and parts.
• Understanding of technology with the ability to learn new platforms and systems.

Responsibilities

• Using an impact hammer and other hand tools, removes plaster from inside of composite parts.
• Removes bagging materials from cured composite parts.
• Performs surface preparation, sanding, and may use acetone or alcohol to remove stuck particles.
