With 5+ years as a newsroom leader in breaking news, you excel at line-editing, headlines, and shaping enterprise reporting. You’ll report to the Deputy Executive Editor and help grow our growing digital presence.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 5 years leading a newsroom in a breaking news environment.
• Must be able to spot, commission, edit, and publish stories across text, images, video, and graphics.
• Proven line-editing and headline-writing skills; strong political coverage instincts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage our breaking news coverage with high editorial standards.
• Guide stories from commissioning to publication, across platforms (text, video, graphics).
• Develop enterprise reporting and maximize impact of coverage.
