Job summary

Aubergine Kitchen in Utah is seeking Breakfast Station staff for early shifts. You will help with station prep, service, and basic guest interactions in a fast-paced cafe environment.

This role requires standing for extended periods, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a willingness to complete the onboarding Food Handler requirements. Shifts are early, 7am-11am, with weekends; the role supports the register and smoothie station through 11:00 a.m., while maintaining cleanliness and organization

Qualifications

• Basic English sufficient to follow tickets and communicate with guests and team members.
• Food prep skills with attention to presentation and portioning; speed, focus, and stamina for an early, fast-paced environment.
• 18+; prior restaurant experience a plus, not required.
• Food Handler Certificate within 14 days of hire (company-supported).
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/push/carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate equipment and prepare all breakfast items per standardized recipes.
• Assist at the register and support the smoothie station through 11:00 a.m.; follow dietary restrictions accurately.
• Open and organize the cold line with FIFO rotation; keep workstation clean, organized, and sanitized throughout the shift.
• Fully restock ingredients and supplies before, during, and after your shift (tasks may vary by location).
• Assist other areas as needed — cleaning, dishwashing, restocking, or rush support.
• Maintain shift records and communicate clearly about what's prepped and what's needed for the next shift.
