Job summary

Marriott Chicago Northwest is seeking a Breakfast Server to join our hotel dining team. You will greet guests, take beverage and food orders, and provide friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced breakfast environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of menu items, serving professionally, and ensuring accurate billing while upholding Marriott standards and a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Good organizational and verbal communication skills.
• Friendly, service-oriented demeanor.
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests and relay to kitchen staff.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and daily specials.
• Serve food and drinks professionally and courteously.
• Set and reset tables; clear and sanitize as needed.
• Ensure proper table hygiene and stock condiments.
• Assist with cleaning duties and store readiness.
• Ensure guests are correctly billed and payments processed.
• Provide outstanding customer service to ensure dining satisfaction.
