Job summary

Tru by Hilton Hazleton is seeking a friendly breakfast attendant to set up and maintain the morning buffet, serve guests, and keep the dining area inviting.

Responsibilities include restocking, greeting guests, handling questions and complaints professionally, cleaning spills, and assisting with inventory and training new attendants if needed. This role requires early morning shifts and a positive, guest-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or hotel settings preferred but not required.
• Strong guest-facing skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Willingness to work early morning shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
• Food handler's permit (such as ServSafe) is a plus but can be obtained after hiring.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and Setup: Set up the breakfast buffet and prepare hot and cold food items.
• Restocking: Restock food, beverages, silverware, and condiments throughout the shift.
• Guest Service: Greet guests, answer questions, handle complaints, and clear tables.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean dining area, spills, floors, and sanitize tables/equipment.
• Inventory: Monitor levels and assist with ordering supplies for the next day.
• Teamwork: Work with teammates and assist with training new attendants as needed.
