Job summary

Grand View Lodge is seeking a Breakfast Server to join the Heritage, Breakfast team in Nisswa, MN. This part-time role focuses on delivering attentive, guest-centered service and maintaining a welcoming dining experience.

You will be responsible for station setup, menu guidance, timely course delivery, and accurate POS transactions. Weekend/holiday hours are required, with opportunities to grow within the resort.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older due to alcohol service.
• Experience in serving in a restaurant, resort, or hospitality setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service and basic wine knowledge.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay organized and handle busy service periods.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Physical stamina to stand/walk for 6–7 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up your section for service and pre-set tables and supplies.
• Greet guests, guide through menu, and suggest items.
• Know menu items, ingredients, and allergens; explain to guests.
• Serve courses promptly and maintain service pace.
• Refill drinks, clear plates, and attend to guest needs.
• Process orders/payments using POS.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and inform supervisor of issues.
• Complete closing duties and reset for next service.
• Know resort amenities to assist guests.
