Job summary

Grand View Lodge is seeking a Breakfast Server for Heritage Breakfast in Nisswa, MN. This part-time resort dining role places you at the heart of the guest experience, managing your section, greeting guests, and delivering attentive food and beverage service.

You’ll need strong hospitality instincts, effective communication, and a willingness to work weekends and holidays. Prior serving experience and basic wine knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older; required for alcohol service.
• Prior serving experience in a restaurant, resort, or hospitality setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of food and beverage service and basic wine knowledge.
• Strong communication, personable and professional.
• Organized, composed under busy conditions.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up your section for service and maintain guest-ready tables.
• Greet guests, guide them through the menu, and suggest options.
• Know menu items, ingredients, allergens, and daily specials.
• Serve courses promptly, maintain pace, and check in with guests.
• Refill drinks, clear plates, and anticipate needs.
• Process orders and payments accurately using POS.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and communicate with supervisors.
