Job summary

North Point Hospitality Group, Inc. in Savannah, GA is seeking a part-time buffet attendant to greet guests, stock and set up the buffet, and assist with breakfast service from 5:00am.

You will serve water or coffee, take and deliver orders, maintain cleanliness, and ensure high quality and consistent presentation of all food served.

The role requires a HS diploma (or equivalent), being at least 18, and a friendly, professional guest-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Ability to delight by anticipating guest needs and responding in a friendly, helpful manner
• Ability to display a consistently caring and respectful attitude
• Act as a gracious host to guests, vendors and candidates for employment

Responsibilities

• Set up the buffet daily, ensuring items are well-stocked, and break down the buffet after service
• Greet the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness
• Serve water and/or coffee upon greeting the table
• Serve guests with food and drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessary
• Clear tables during breakfast using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware, and silverware in a timely manner
• Observes guests to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed
• Control quality and consistency of all food served
• Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Total checks and accepts payment or refer guests to cashier

The pay range for this role is: $7.25 per hour
