Job summary

North Point Hospitality is seeking team members for a part-time role at the DoubleTree by Hilton Savannah Historic District. You will set up and stock the buffet, greet guests, and assist with breakfast service in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

The position requires a friendly, professional demeanor, the ability to anticipate guest needs, and a commitment to exceptional service. Early start times begin at 5:00am, with opportunities to grow within the hospitality group.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Professionalism and friendly, helpful demeanor.
• Ability to delight guests by anticipating needs.
• Ability to maintain a caring and respectful attitude.
• Act as gracious host to guests, vendors and candidates for employment.

Responsibilities

• Set up the buffet daily and ensure items are stocked; break down after service.
• Greet guests and explain specials and promotions.
• Serve water or coffee upon greeting.
• Take and replenish food and drink orders in dining area.
• Clear tables during breakfast using proper dish removal.
• Observe guests to fulfill requests and determine when meals are complete.
• Check station for set-up and cleanliness before, during, and after shift.
• Total checks and process payments or refer to cashier.

What you’ll do (mostly this...other duties may be assigned):

• Set up the buffet daily, ensuring that all items are well‑stocked, and break down the buffet after service
• Greet the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness
• Serve water and/or coffee upon greeting the table
• Serve guests with food and drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessary
• Clear tables during breakfast using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware, and silverware in a timely manner
• Observes guests to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed
• Control quality and consistency of all food served
• Check station before, during and after shift for proper set‑up and cleanliness
• Total checks and accepts payment or refer guests to cashier

Please note that the working hours for this position start at 5:00am.

The pay range for this role is: $7.25 per hour
