Job summary

The Steward, Santa Barbara, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is seeking friendly Restaurant Servers to provide attentive tableside service and in-depth menu recommendations. You will engage guests, accurately process orders, and help create memorable dining experiences in a bustling hotel setting.

Important qualifications include 1+ years’ serving experience and a High School diploma or equivalent. This role emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and guest satisfaction in a dynamic hospitality

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant serving experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in primary language(s) used in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant for service by cleaning guest and service spaces and stocking essential supplies.
• Learn details on each menu item to provide food and beverage recommendations to guests.
• Accurately detail each order, ensuring accuracy and guest delight.
• Engage and build rapport with guests to identify needs and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicate special needs or requests and resolve guest challenges with the team.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant spaces and perform side work as needed.
• Communicate restaurant procedures to guests and assist in emergencies.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by restaurant leadership.
