Job summary

Colwen Hotels' Portland Sheraton at Sable Oaks in Maine is seeking experienced and friendly Breakfast Servers to join our team. You will be the face of the restaurant, greeting guests and delivering attentive service with a positive, upbeat attitude.

This role requires the ability to work quickly, handle guest questions, and maintain brand standards. A 7-day rotational schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays is typical.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to solve problems.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale system
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently

• Ability to maintain personal hygiene
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and welcome each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting.
• Take food and beverage orders and deliver to the kitchen.
• Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items.
• Answer questions regarding the menu.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition.
• Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to the guest's satisfaction; return incorrect items to the kitchen.
• Collect plates and clear tables as guests finish their meal.
