Job summary

Route 66 Pub and Grill located inside Holiday Inn is seeking a server 2–3 days per week with shifts from 5:30am to 10:00am. The role focuses on welcoming guests, taking orders, and delivering friendly service to ensure a positive dining experience.

Prior foodservice exposure is preferred and applicants must meet age requirements for alcohol service. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent movement around the dining area.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing.
• Foodservice experience preferred.
• Minimum age to serve alcohol as required by law.
• Carrying or lifting up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms.
• Moving about the restaurant.
• Handling food objects; plates, trays, glasses.
• Bending, stooping, kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests and take beverage and food orders promptly and professionally.
• Be attentive to guests’ needs.
• Monitor alcohol service and notify management if issues arise.
• Clear and clean tables promptly and efficiently.
• Clean tables, chairs, walls, and floors as needed.
• Perform opening and closing duties as required.
• Ensure wait staff stations are clean and maintained.
• Take action to resolve guest problems and ensure satisfaction.
• Work as a team and coordinate with other departments to provide excellent service.
• May handle guest payments as needed.
