Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Omaha Aksarben Village is seeking a Breakfast Server for mornings at our Omaha hotel. This part-time role requires open weekday and weekend availability and involves seating guests, taking orders, and delivering breakfast with a focus on hospitality and accuracy.

You will work with the kitchen team to ensure timely and high-quality service while maintaining a clean dining area and following safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous hotel/restaurant experience preferred
• Knowledge of food and beverage service
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating
• Provide accurate and prompt food and beverage service
• Memorize and recommend menu offerings, including daily specials
• Take orders and input them into the POS system
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure orders are prepared and delivered promptly
• Monitor food quality and ensure dishes meet highest standards
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues or complaints
• Demonstrate knowledge of breakfast offerings and make recommendations based on preferences and dietary restrictions
• Provide exceptional service and exceed guest expectations
• Follow health and safety regulations and proper food handling practices

Job description

Job Summary:

AVG schedule 5:00am to NOON. Must have open availability with weekdays and weekends.

The Breakfast Server at Hilton Garden Inn Omaha Aksarben Village is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests during breakfast hours. This individual will ensure a welcoming and efficient dining experience for guests while representing the high standards and reputation of our hotel. The Breakfast Server will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure all breakfast items are delivered promptly and accurately to guests.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a part-time, position in the hospitality/restaurant industry. Rate of pay for this position ranges from $13 to $15 per hour, paid biweekly. The employee will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, and employee discounts at Hilton properties worldwide.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting preferred
• Knowledge of food and beverage service, including menu items and drink preparation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Basic math and computer skills
• Must pass a background check and drug test
