Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and food items for daily service.
• Wash, cut, slice, chop, and portion vegetables, meats, and other ingredients.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, grab-and-go items, desserts, and other menu items.
• Follow recipes and proper portion sizes.
• Set up and stock kitchen stations before service.
• Label, date, rotate, and properly store food.
• Follow FIFO procedures to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow food safety procedures.
• Keep prep areas, equipment, and workstations clean and sanitized.
• Assist cooks during breakfast and lunch service as needed.
• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift.
• Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries.
• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties.
• Follow all company, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
