Job summary

Adams-Fairacre-Farm is seeking a Cook I to join our kitchen team in New York. You will follow recipes, aid in meal preparation, and ensure foods are prepared with care and presented to our high standards.

Shifts run 6 AM to 2 PM with Saturdays required; you will help maintain a clean, organized kitchen, support team members, and uphold safety and sanitation guidelines in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience relevant to fast-paced food service environments.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to greet customers warmly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation including chopping vegetables and assembling items per recipes.
• Prepare hot sandwiches, breakfast items, and catering orders.
• Maintain safe food temperatures, proper labeling, and attractive presentation.
• Rotate stock, restock, and ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
