Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a breakfast attendant to warmly welcome guests, assist with the breakfast bar, and help maintain a clean, inviting lobby area.

The role requires flexible shifts, weekend availability, and a focus on guest satisfaction. You will work with the hospitality team to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.

Previous customer service experience is valued, and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions for clientele.
• Food safety certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Handle guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Observe all house, safety rules, food handling procedures, and security procedures.
• Assist with inventories as scheduled.
• Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
• Welcome and interact with guests in breakfast and lobby areas; manage breakfast bar setup, service, maintenance, and breakdown.
