Restaurant 604 seeks a dedicated Line Cook to manage breakfast shifts, set up stations, receive guest orders, prepare and plate items, and maintain a clean work area. The role emphasizes quality standards, fast communication, and strong teamwork on weekends and holiday periods in Honolulu.

The ideal candidate is at least 18, communicates well in English, and can handle lifting up to 50 pounds. A valid health card and ability to perform basic math are required, with a starting rate of $22/hour

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
• Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, products, and other items weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Must have a valid health card or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform simple math calculations and understand units and measures.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must have the ability to lift, stoop, and bend.
• Must exhibit hand coordination and dexterity for rapid productions.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and the General Policies and Procedures section of the Line Cook Training Manual.
• Maintains a positive attendance record by arriving 10 minutes before shifts and minimizing no-shows.
• Follows sanitation and safety standards with high audit scores.
• Maintains uniform, appearance, and grooming standards as specified.
• Maintains guest service standards and minimizes customer complaints.
• Knows all menu items and can explain specials to front-of-house staff; can answer preparation questions.
• Determines par levels and communicates prep lists with minimal waste.
• Communicates orders accurately to fellow cooks and expedites readiness for delivery.
• Prepares and verifies menu items according to quality standards 100% of the time.
• Coordinates with expediter/server when orders are ready for plating.
• Follows proper receiving and storage processes with accuracy.
• Completes meals within time targets for tables.
• Performs side work as required and completes end-of-shift procedures accurately.
• Supports teammates to maintain a positive team environment.
