Job summary

Eggs Up Grill is seeking an EGGCELLENT Cook to prepare delicious breakfast and lunch selections according to our menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery.

An excellent cook must follow instructions, be deft in moving around the kitchen and multitask while maintaining sanitation. Responsibilities include setting up workstations, preparing ingredients, cooking with various utensils, checking quality, and ensuring proper storage and stock

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cook.
• Experience with cutting tools, cookware and bakeware.
• Knowledge of grilling, baking, boiling and other cooking methods.
• Ability to follow sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat).
• Cook food using various utensils or grillers.
• Monitor and turn food while cooking.
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before serving.
• Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment.
• Store all food and items properly.
• Check quality of ingredients.
• Monitor stock and place orders when shortages occur.

• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
