Responsible for: offering prompt and courteous service to ensure guests have an enjoyable experience. Maintain cleanliness and a guest-ready appearance of the outlet.

Pre-requisites

Company associates have access to guestrooms and property. Character traits of honesty and trustworthiness are essential. Associates must pass appropriate security clearance as per company policy.

Experience

Experience in a food and beverage position is helpful.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Must be able to perform major life activities: standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating.

Specific Requirements
  • Push or pull 60 pounds and lift/carry 30 pounds.
  • Stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, reach.
  • See and hear.
  • Speak and read English; additional languages may be helpful.
  • Display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge in:
  • Menu items and beverage choices.
  • Standards of operation as required by brand.
  • Local shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
  • Daily hotel operations, including updates on events, procedures, and changes.
  • Property details: staff, services, hours, rooms, rates, discounts.
Skills
  • Service-minded, friendly, professional behavior.
  • Suggest and serve quality food and beverage items per standards.
Abilities
  • Multitask while maintaining guest service focus.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and support teams.
  • Solve guest issues professionally with a hospitable attitude.
  • Work as a team in cleaning, side work, food prep, and storage.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the dining area in a guest-ready state.
  • Close shift with cleaning and restocking for the next day.
  • Follow safety and security practices, know emergency procedures.
  • Provide guests with high-quality products and service.
  • Complete brand standard documentation as required.
  • Perform other duties as capable and assigned.
