Responsibilities:

• Greeting and escorting guests to tables, assisting with seating, and distributing menus
• Extending courteous departures as guests leave
• Preparing station charts and assigning stations to staff following departmental procedures
• Inspecting menus and wine lists for cleanliness and accuracy; updating as needed
• Inspecting the restaurant environment and entrance area
• Ensuring tables and stations meet set standards
• Managing reservations and cancellations per departmental standards
• Communicating pertinent information during operations
• Providing courteous guest departures

Requirements:

• Prior food service experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate
• Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions
• A passion for food and beverage and a desire to learn and grow
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and pricing
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper procedures
• Multitasking skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
• Fluent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
