Job summary

Hyatt Indy in downtown Indianapolis is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to set up and maintain the hotel's breakfast service, greet guests, and ensure a warm, inviting dining area.

Responsibilities include stocking items, preparing beverages and light foods, monitoring temperatures, upholding food safety standards, and collaborating with team members to deliver friendly service throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; Valid Food Handling Certification required.
• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30–40 lbs.
• Good communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the breakfast area, ensuring items are stocked and visually appealing.
• Prepare basic items such as coffee, juice, pastries, fruit, and hot items as applicable.
• Greet guests warmly and assist with breakfast needs or questions.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room, service area, and equipment.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow sanitation standards.
• Restock utensils, plates, condiments, and supplies throughout the shift.
• Break down and clean the breakfast setup at the end of service.
• Report inventory shortages or equipment issues to management.
