Job summary

Quality Inn Rapid City is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to set up, maintain, and break down the complimentary breakfast service, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and a high-quality experience in a clean, professional environment.

You will greet guests, stock and rotate items, maintain sanitation, and assist with light food preparation. This on-site role requires flexibility for mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a customer-facing role.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Food Handler's Card or equivalent certification may be required by local health department standards (must be obtained within a specified time frame).

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest entering the breakfast area with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Maintain a stocked, fresh, and visually appealing breakfast setup, including pastries, cereals, fruit, yogurt, breads, coffee, juice, and milk.
• Monitor food and beverage levels and replenish items quickly to prevent shortages.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and sanitation in the serving area, tables, and surrounding floor space.
• Break down and clean all equipment and the breakfast area after service; report maintenance issues promptly.
