Applebee’s Restaurant & In-Room Dining | Delta Hotels & Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Matteson IL is seeking a Breakfast Cook to prepare and execute breakfast for Applebee’s and IRD. You will maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role requires hands-on culinary work, ability to manage multiple orders, and collaboration with hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction. Early shift with flexibility, including weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous professional cooking or restaurant kitchen experience required.
• Experience in breakfast production is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast menu items according to established recipes and specifications.
• Prepare food for both Applebee’s breakfast service and IRD.
• Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, temperature, quality, and presentation.
• Prepare items such as eggs, pancakes, potatoes, sausage, and other breakfast items.
• Coordinate with servers and IRD associates to ensure timely orders.
• Follow all approved recipes and procedures to minimize waste.
