Job summary

The Chatham Inn, part of Noble House Hotels & Resorts, seeks a Breakfast Cook for our luxury Cape Cod property. You will prepare breakfast items and stock the station to meet daily demand and ensure peak quality for guests.

With at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, you will demonstrate strong English communication, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced, high-service environment. Holidays and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a breakfast/culinary role in a luxury setting.
• Strong English communication and organizational abilities are required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and organize the breakfast station and begin food prep for service.
• Prepare all breakfast items and ensure timely, high-quality plating.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of food and equipment.
• Rotate tasks for different breakfast items and shifts as needed.
• Support supervisor with ensuring guest satisfaction during service.

Hiring Bonus Available: $500 paid out in three (3) installments - $200 at 30 days of employment; $150 at 60 days of employment; and $150 at 90 days of employment. Please note: This hiring bonus is subject to all withholdings and deductions as required by law.

A day in the life...

The Breakfast Cook will produce all orders required by business volume and supervisor, as quickly and efficiently as possible, and to produce the highest quality product. Also, to produce all orders on an a la carte basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open up preparing and organizing the station and cooking all food necessary to start serving.
• Prepare all items for breakfast service.
• Rearrange the line for cooking and service.
• Prepare all orders as turned in and ensures all orders cooked quickly and according to order; also ensures that food leaves the kitchen in peak condition.
• Learn Breakfast menu, recipes, preparation, and presentation.
• Ensure that all food is stored in proper containers and at proper storage and holding temperatures.
• Cook only sufficient food in advance to cover expected business volume and to maintain quality.
• Prepare all food needed.
• Prepare all food for next shift and for the following day as required and directed by Supervisor.
• Maintain the work area, including all counter tops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with state, county, and company health regulations and work safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
