The Perle Oban Hotel & Spa in Oban is seeking a Breakfast Chef to deliver high standards of breakfast dishes in a fast-paced hotel kitchen. You’ll work with fresh, local produce, supporting a busy breakfast service and collaborating with the wider kitchen team.
The role offers an hourly rate, housing allowance if you don’t require staff accommodation, tips and benefits, 28 days’ annual leave, and a supportive team focused on quality and guest satisfaction.

Our menus focus on fresh seafood, Highland produce, and approachable, well‑executed dishes. As a busy hotel restaurant, we deliver high‑volume service without compromising on quality, making organisation, teamwork, and consistency key.
· Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes to a high standard, including hot dishes, continental options, and specials.
· Work efficiently during busy breakfast service to ensure timely delivery for all guests.
· Present dishes attractively and consistently to reflect Perle Hotels’ quality standards.
· Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and breakfast prep areas.
· Assist with stock control, rotation, and ordering as needed.
· Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
· Collaborate with the wider kitchen and F&B team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
· Previous experience as a breakfast chef, commis, or cook in a hospitality setting is preferred but not essential, training will be provided.
· Passion for fresh, high‑quality food and attention to detail.
· Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining standards.
· Team player with a positive attitude and reliability.
· Flexibility to work early morning shifts as required.
· Enthusiasm for learning, developing skills, and contributing to a memorable guest experience.
