Chef Andrew Carmellini is seeking Breakfast Baristas for his signature restaurant, Café Carmellini at The Fifth Avenue Hotel.

Café Carmellini is the signature restaurant from James Beard Award-winning chef Andrew Carmellini. It marks his return to fine dining, combining Italian and French influences with a classic New York feel and a modern vibe.

The menu draws inspiration from the city, family history, and seasonal ingredients, offering reimagined classics, innovative dishes, and seasonal specials. The wine program, curated by Master Sommelier Josh Nadel, features an extensive 1,800-bottle selection from Italy, France, the U.S., and beyond. The restaurant's design blends neoclassical architecture with maximalist style, evoking Old New York elegance. It features a welcoming kitchen, an intimate bar, a dining room with sculptural trees, curated art, and balconies for tête-à-tête dining with a view.

Ideal candidates possess:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining establishments.
2. Warm and gracious service approach, with the ability to create stellar guest experiences.
3. The ability to lift 25+ pounds.
4. Comfort speaking in front of large groups.
5. Open availability and career-driven attitude.
