Experience & Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience as a barista in a high-volume coffee shop or cafe is required.
  • Must have open availability including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting, and stooping.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure all stations are properly stocked and set up before and during service and complete any additional opening duties.
  • Greet customers, take orders accurately, and ring all orders through POS; promptly receive and process payment for each guest.
  • Prepare coffee and other beverages according to Hogsalt recipes, always upholding the culture and standards of the Hogsalt coffee program and adhering to food safety standards.
  • Anticipate the needs of guests and provide consistent, genuine, and generous service.
  • Address any guest needs or concerns as soon as possible; communicate any complaints or issues with food or service to leadership.
  • Complete all closing duties including a financial checkout, closing sidework, general cleaning projects, and any additional tasks assigned by leadership.
  • Ensure all Hogsalt Steps Of Service are properly executed.
