Garner by IHG is seeking a friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our hotel team in San Juan. You will ensure a clean, well-stocked, and welcoming breakfast area and assist guests with breakfast selections in a 24/7 operation.

The role requires a positive attitude, strong customer service, and the ability to handle money and operate a POS system if needed. Bilingual English/Spanish communication is essential for guest and team interactions.

Our hotel operates 24/7, and team members must be flexible and ready to adapt their schedules based on business demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Station Preparation: Check the assigned station before opening to ensure cleanliness of tables and chairs and proper setup of tabletop items.
• Equipment Readiness: Ensure you have all necessary equipment to work with, including trays, pens, bus towels, etc.
• Menu Knowledge: Be knowledgeable of all menu items, their garnishes, contents, and preparation methods to answer guest questions accurately and concisely.
• Guest Assistance: Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with their breakfast selections and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including replenishing food and beverage items, clearing tables, and wiping spills.
• Guest Engagement : Interact with guests to promote a friendly atmosphere, encouraging feedback and building rapport to enhance the overall experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system, if required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders or assistance in a timely manner .
• Self-starting individual with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
