Fairfield Inn Henrietta NY is seeking a friendly Breakfast Attendant to prepare and oversee our complimentary breakfast for guests each morning. You will greet guests, set up breakfast items, brew coffee, maintain a clean dining area, and ensure supplies are stocked and rotated according to health standards.

This role emphasizes reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or with a team while delivering warm, professional service that creates memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Prior food serving experience preferred.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to change.
• Follow policies, work independently or in teams, use time and resources wisely, and prioritize safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set-up breakfast items.
• Greet and acknowledge guests as they arrive and engage in conversation.
• Bus and clear tables, straighten chairs, and arrange furniture.
• Brew fresh coffee as needed and restock drink and food items.
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area and overall safety.
• Inspect storage areas and rotate stock; receive and store orders.
• Follow procedures to ensure health codes are met and inventory counts are accurate.

The Breakfast Attendant will prepare and oversee the breakfast area for delivery of the guests’ complimentary breakfast and customer service in accordance with the hotel’s policies/procedures, and the brand’s standards to achieve and maintain guest satisfaction, product quality, and safety and security while embracing the values of the Company Culture and Guiding Principles.

Major Areas of Accountability:

• Ensures guest satisfaction by preparing breakfast daily according to operational policies and standards and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
• Prepare and set-up breakfast items.
• Greet and acknowledge guests as they arrive. Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation with guests.
• Bus and clear tables, straighten chairs and properly arrange the furniture.
• Brew fresh coffee as needed.
• Restock drink and food items and other supplies (ex. Plastic ware, napkins, cups, etc.)
• Maintain the cleanliness of the breakfast area, keeping it orderly.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Engage with guest and thank them as they depart.
• Clean all equipment and breakfast/kitchen areas.
• Sweep and mop dining /kitchen area.
• Properly store all unused drink, food items and supplies in accordance with health codes.
• Inspect storage areas, fridges, and freezers for inventory counts.
• Follow hotel operational procedures to ensure orders are placed for items that are below par levels.
• Receive supplies, date and rotate stock.
• Conducts product inventory, receives, and stores orders.

Requirements:

• Prior food serving experience preferred.

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and customer service skills are important, along with professionalism, integrity, and respectful communication.
• Must have open availability work weekends and holidays

Physical:

• Able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 50lbs.
• Able to bend, squat, twist repeatedly.
• Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift.
