Job summary

HRI Properties is seeking a Breakfast Attendant for our downtown Indianapolis property. The Breakfast Attendant will prepare, set up, maintain, and breakdown breakfast service to ensure items are fresh, well-stocked, and presented in a welcoming manner for guests.

The role supports Food & Beverage and reports to the F&B leadership. This position contributes to a guest-focused breakfast experience in a 186-room hotel with onsite dining, fitness, pool, and other amenities, reflecting our

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Good time management and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30-40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the breakfast area, ensuring items are fully stocked and visually appealing.
• Prepare basic items such as coffee, juices, pastries, fruit, and hot items.
• Greet guests warmly and assist with any breakfast needs or questions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, service area, and equipment.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Restock utensils, plates, cups, condiments, and supplies throughout the shift.
• Clean tables, counters, and service areas promptly and efficiently.
• Break down and clean the breakfast setup at the end of service.
• Report inventory shortages or equipment issues to management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education
