Job summary

Baywood Hotels Polaris in Columbus, OH is looking for a Hotel Laundry Attendant to inspect, wash, fold, and stock guest room linens and keep work areas tidy. You will operate washers/dryers, maintain supplies, and ensure brand standards are followed.

Ideal candidates have some high school education and customer service experience; ability to lift up to 40 lbs is required. Weekend rotation/full-time hours apply, with on-site work at the Polaris property.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel laundry experience preferred; however, ability gained through 1+ years related employment may substitute for food service experience.
• Ability to learn and maintain franchise standards and procedures.
• Must have ability to positively communicate with guests and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, wash, fold, and store laundered linen for guest rooms and outlets.
• Operate washers and dryers per established procedures and maintain supplies.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary items.
• Record and report damaged linen, inventory supplies, and respond to management requests.
• Answer telephone, relay messages, and assist with monthly inventories.
