Job description

Breakfast Attendant - Inn on Woodlake

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Specific Responsibilities

1. Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware, and other cooking utensils, then place them in racks to send through the dish machine.
2. Sort and stack clean dishes.
3. Carry clean dishes to the cook’s line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering.
4. Change dishwater in the dish machine every hour.
5. Remove trash.
6. Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
7. Sweep/mop floors.
8. Sweep up trash around the exterior of the restaurant and garbage dumpster.
9. Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed.
10. Notify the manager if the dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
11. Prepare salad bar items, ensuring freshness of all items; maintain small condiments with fresh contents.
12. Ensure refrigeration of appropriate items immediately.

This is a part-time position with standard hours from 5am to noon. Weekends are required.

Skills/Requirements

• ServSafe certification is a plus but not required.
• Some experience in food preparation in a restaurant, kitchen, or dining area.
• Knowledge of food preparation methods, kitchen equipment, and materials used in food prep work.

The hourly rate for this position is $18 per hour. The specific rate offered may vary based on experience, education, and work location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
