Job summary

Embassy Suites Central Park is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to prepare the breakfast bar and greet hotel guests in a friendly manner. You will carry items from pantry to serving counters, set up appealing displays, and ensure food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include stocking condiments, assisting guests, and cleaning the breakfast area. The role may require holidays and weekends; strong service orientation and basic English are needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations when serving alcohol to minors or intoxicated guests.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Basic English to understand inquiries and give simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Carry food, dishes, trays, or silverware from pantry to serving counters.
• Set up attractive food displays and maintain cleanliness for food safety.
• Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths.
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry to kitchens for cleaning.
• Clean up spills, remove trash, and maintain supplies in pantry/breakfast area.
• Stock condiments, glassware, and serving items; refill as needed.
• Locate and provide items requested by guests.
• Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, and equipment; mop or vacuum floors.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and contribute to higher department scores.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
