Job summary

SpringHill Suites San Antonio Downtown/Riverwalk Area is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to deliver friendly service and maintain spotless dining areas. You will greet guests by name, coordinate with team members, and ensure cleanliness and safety throughout breakfast service.

Responsibilities include stocking buffet, sanitation of tables, and adherence to food safety standards while delivering a warm, guest-focused experience in a fast-paced, hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
• Can-Do Attitude: Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to Follow Guidelines: Must understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Handle Pace and Pressure: Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Listening, Conflict Resolution: Must be effective at listening to and resolving concerns from guests and coworkers.
• Communication Skills: Must convey information clearly and professionally.
• Hospitality and Guest Service: Desire to serve all guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile.
• Use guests' names whenever possible to make them feel welcomed.
• Ensure guest satisfaction scores through teamwork and service quality.
• Handle challenging guest situations with urgency and hospitality.
• Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities.
• Support events and groups with hospitality.
• Understand and use relevant technology for the role.
• Answer calls with friendly service using the approved greeting.
• Clear and clean front and back-of-house areas; assist with cleaning as needed.
• Follow brand and hotel-specific checklists and standards.
• Set up and maintain breakfast areas according to brand directives.
• Keep breakfast buffet well stocked and clean throughout service period.
• Clean and sanitize tables after each departure and prep for next guest.
