Job summary

Embassy Suites Irvine is seeking a friendly breakfast attendant to oversee the morning service, prepare breakfast items, maintain a clean dining area, and ensure a high-quality guest experience with safe food handling.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least minimal experience, solid English communication, and a cheerful, dependable attitude in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service and dealing with the public.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic math for orders and totals.

Responsibilities

• Be dependable and prompt, arriving on time and ready to work in a clean uniform and a nametag.
• Prepare breakfast food and beverage items and set out all hot and cold food items following all food safety regulations.
• Replenish all food and beverage items during the meal period. Keep all items fully stocked even up until the last minute we are open.
• Keep all tables bussed and cleaned throughout the entire time breakfast and happy hour are open.
• Greet each guest as they arrive for breakfast and replenish coffee as time permits.
• Build rapport with all guests at all times and report any complaints to management for resolution.
