A leading hotel in Round Rock is seeking a Breakfast Bar Attendant to elevate guest experiences during breakfast service and assist with bar and event operations. The role involves preparing coffee, maintaining cleanliness, and welcoming guests. This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about hospitality and eager to develop beverage service skills.
Set up and break down the breakfast bar daily, ensuring cleanliness, presentation, and full stock of food and beverages.
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso drinks.
Maintain and clean coffee machines, grinders, and related tools throughout service.
Replenish breakfast and beverage items as needed, following food safety standards.
Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and respond to inquiries or dietary needs.
Keep breakfast and coffee stations clean, organized, and inviting throughout the morning.
Assist in setting up the hotel bar for service during evening shifts and events.
Learn basic cocktail preparation, garnishing, and responsible alcohol service under guidance from seniorlead bartender.
Ensure bar tools, mixers, and inventory are ready and maintained before and during service.
Support cleaning and restocking of bar area post-shift or event.
Assist with setup, service, and breakdown of food and beverage stations at hotel events, such as banquets, meetings, and receptions.
Collaborate with the Sales & Event team to ensure smooth and professional service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of event areas in compliance with health and safety standards.
Customer Service:Friendly, guest-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
Barista Skills:Experience with or willingness to learn espresso and coffee drink preparation.
Food Handling & Safety:Understanding of sanitation practices and health regulations.
Bartending Interest:Openness to learning cocktails, bar setup, and alcohol service guidelines.
Communication:Clear and courteous communication with guests and team members.
Time Management & Flexibility:Ability to handle early mornings, and event support as needed.
Physical Stamina:Comfortable standing for extended periods, climbing stairs and lifting moderate weight.
Experience in food service, barista work, bartending or hospitality is preferred but not required.
TABC and food handler certification is required.
