Part-Time Breakfast Attendant – $15/hour
Availability: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Breakfast Attendant to provide excellent guest service in our hotel’s complimentary breakfast area.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar
- Assisting guests with their needs
- Restocking food and beverage items
- Keeping the breakfast area clean and organized
Prior hospitality or food service experience is a plus.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag.
- Greet and seat guests at appropriate tables promptly.
- Ensure quality control of menus regarding cleanliness and appearance.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables and hotel spaces as per requests or management instructions.
- Ensure all service areas are stocked, organized, clean, and neat; complete all side work each shift.
- Support beverage and food service, including washing dishes, restocking, sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
- Have knowledge of service standards for room service orders and menu details.
- Perform cashiering duties, including closing checks and shift paperwork.
- Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties as assigned.
- Answer guest questions about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
- Support other duties and attend meetings as required.
- Produce high-quality drinks, including specialty coffee, tea, cocktails, and other beverages as required.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in job performance.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Willingness to work varied schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Legal age to serve alcohol and pass responsible serving courses (e.g., TIPs).
- Ability to obtain a Food Handlers card.
- Ability to evaluate options quickly and accurately.
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
- Understanding of hotel products and guest services.
- Effective communication skills with guests and team members.
- Positive attitude and service-oriented mindset.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage standards, guest etiquette, and numerical operations.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and memos.
- Patience, tact, diplomacy in customer interactions.
- Willingness to learn and support team members.
