Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose: Contribute to customer satisfaction by preparing & serving high quality food products in accordance with the brand standards. Maintain cleanliness and guest ready appearance of the outlet. Understands and implements the mission statement, values, and culture at all times.
Pre-Requisites (Requirements)
- 1+ years of experience in food and beverage position preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
Work Environment & Context
- Must be able to perform major life activities: standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating.
- Stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, and reach.
- Work schedule varies and may include holidays, weekends, and evenings, sometimes long hours.
- Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift/carry 30 pounds.
Requirements
Knowledgeable In:
- Property details, staff services, hours of operation, rooms, rates, discounts.
- Menu items and beverage choices.
- Standards of operation as required by brand.
- Answer inquiries about shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
- Stay updated on daily hotel operations, events, and procedures.
Skills:
- Suggest and serve quality food and beverage items as per standards.
- Service-minded, friendly, professional behavior.
Abilities:
- Multi-task, be detail-oriented, and remain service-centric.
- Communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
- Assist with guest issues professionally and hospitably.
- Work as a team in cleaning, food prep, and storage.

Essential Functions:
- Prepare and maintain a guest-ready dining area and supplies.
- Close shift by cleaning and restocking for the next day.
- Follow safety and security practices, know emergency procedures.
- Provide guests with high-quality products and service.
- Control food costs and manage inventory.
- Take inventory and submit orders as needed.
- Perform other duties as capable.
