Job summary

Island Hospitality is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to oversee the hotel’s breakfast service and ensure guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met. You will be a reference point for guests while preparing and serving breakfast items in the hotel breakfast or reception area.

The role may require flexible scheduling and a strong commitment to hospitality excellence, teamwork, and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining space for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide breakfast service and assist with making and serving made-to-order items.
• Keep breakfast area stocked and clean, and reset spaces for the next service.
• Clear cutlery and crockery from tables and maintain a neat dining environment.
• Take beverage orders and relay to kitchen as needed.
• Assist guests and vendors with information and directions.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met throughout service.

As a Breakfast Attendant, you are responsible for the overall success of the Hotel's breakfast service and ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met. The role of the Breakfast Attendant is to be a key person of reference for guests while preparing and serving made to order food and beverage products in the hotel breakfast or reception area.

This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Cooking and assembling the breakfast service before mealtime and disassembling it thereafter
• Ensuring the breakfast service space remains well-stocked at all times
• Clearing cutlery and crockery from customers' tables
• Receiving beverage orders and directing them to the kitchen, as needed
• Provide information and assistance to all guests and vendors
• Cleaning and sanitizing tables, countertops, and floors after each meal service
• Ensuring a wonderful experience from beginning to end while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
