Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine care
• Deliver highly attentive service
• Engage in polite conversation as time allows
• Be fully informed of continental breakfast options
• Set up the Breakfast area for service
• Stock all self-service areas with proper equipment and food items
• Maintain proper standards of sanitation and the physical appearance of breakfast area
• Obtain food supplies from Food Storeroom
• Comply with all food safety and quality assurance standards
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Complete prep work as required for next shift, break down breakfast area, return unused items to their places, and store food and perishables according to procedures to avoid spoiling and loss
• Clean chairs, tables, and floors

Qualifications

• A professional demeanor, a warm and welcoming personality, and ability to engage easily with others
• Genuine caring, compassionate, and comfortable conversing with individuals from diverse backgrounds and at all organizational levels
• Clear and professional language
• Previous bartender experience is a big plus
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Minimum Requirements

The Breakfast Attendant role requires standing for long periods of time, or entire shifts. Professional appearance and clean uniform. Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps.
