Job summary

Home2 Billings is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to support our 40 Rooms department with a clean, inviting breakfast experience. This hourly, full-time role prepares items, maintains dining area, and ensures stock and safety standards.

You'll work with the team to greet guests, handle food safety, and keep breakfast service running smoothly during early shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Prior food service is welcome but not required; reliability and guest focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow basic food handling and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–35 lbs for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic communication skills in English, with the ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Positive, guest-focused attitude and willingness to assist team members as needed.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision once trained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up breakfast items in accordance with established standards and food safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including counters, buffet lines, beverage stations, and service equipment.
• Wipe and sanitize tables and chairs before, during, and after breakfast service to ensure a neat dining environment.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and properly storing food deliveries and supplies.
• Monitor food and beverage levels throughout service and restock items as needed.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures to ensure freshness and safety.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers related to breakfast service.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to basic questions and simple requests for assistance.
• Report any maintenance, safety, or equipment issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Adhere to all company policies, health codes, and safety regulations while on duty.
