About The Role

The Breakfast Attendant is a key member of our 40 Rooms department, responsible for creating a clean, inviting, and well-stocked breakfast experience for our guests. In this hourly, full-time role, you will support daily breakfast service by preparing food items, maintaining a tidy dining area, and ensuring that all supplies and ingredients are properly stored and organized. You will work closely with other team members to uphold cleanliness, food safety, and guest service standards, helping to start each guest’s day on a positive note.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and set up breakfast items in accordance with established standards and food safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including counters, buffet lines, beverage stations, and service equipment
• Wipe and sanitize tables and chairs before, during, and after breakfast service to ensure a neat dining environment
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and properly storing food deliveries and supplies
• Monitor food and beverage levels throughout service and restock items as needed
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures to ensure freshness and safety
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers related to breakfast service
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to basic questions and simple requests for assistance
• Report any maintenance, safety, or equipment issues to the appropriate supervisor
• Adhere to all company policies, health codes, and safety regulations while on duty

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a similar role is preferred but not required
• Ability to follow basic food handling and safety procedures
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–35 lbs for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Basic communication skills in English, with the ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
• Positive, guest-focused attitude and willingness to assist team members as needed
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision once trained
