Job summary

ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, Inc. in New Mexico seeks a Material Handler to operate cranes and forklifts, set up and run material processing according to work orders, and maintain a clean, safe work area on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

You will perform quality checks, record measurements, participate in lean and quality activities, and support packaging and shift requirements with a safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED required.
• 1–2 years of machine operation experience.
• Ability to read and write.
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Perform basic math and use handheld measuring tools.
• Safety minded.
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
• Prior forklift experience is preferred.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up and run material per work order specifications; record measurements.
• Balance workload and assist teammates when needed; maintain clean and safe area.
• Perform equipment preventive maintenance and general clean-up.
• Enter/delete material identification tags per instructions.
• Assist in packaging material and lean/quality activities.
• Complete production/productivity logs and data reconciliation.
