Chick-fil-A Jefferson & Buchanan in Newport News, VA is seeking a Breader (Back of House Team Member) to prepare and bread our hand-breaded chicken per Chick-fil-A standards. You’ll ensure fresh, delicious meals for guests and help support the kitchen during busy shifts.

Must be 18+, able to follow recipes and safety procedures precisely, and remain calm under pressure while keeping areas clean. Shifts run 5am–5pm Mon–Sat with benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Follow recipes, safety procedures, and operational guidelines precisely.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Commitment to Chick-fil-A’s values of hospitality, integrity, and excellence.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and bread chicken according to Chick-fil-A’s recipes and procedures.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, and temperature at every stage of preparation.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area.
• Ensure proper food safety, hygiene, and storage procedures are followed.
• Communicate with kitchen team and leadership to maintain workflow and product levels.
• Track and manage product rotation to reduce waste.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing inventory.
• Support the back-of-house team as needed in other prep or cooking roles.
