Full-time positions are available from 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Weekend availability is a must.

We are a full-service BAKERY in Nashville owned by Frothy Monkey. Everything we bake is from scratch. Our team produces artisan breads, sandwich breads, muffins, cookies, layer cakes, and pies. We partner with local farms and producers to bring seasonal freshness and foster community through gathering around the table. We offer retail, wholesale, and special orders.

Role and Responsibilities

The Bread Baker role at BAKERY by Frothy Monkey includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Scaling ingredients according to bakery bread formulas
• Mixing ingredients to proper incorporation and development
• Following proper shaping, proofing, and baking procedures for artisanal breads
• Removing loaves from deck and rack ovens, ensuring proper bake, and placing on cooling racks
• Assisting in slicing, packaging, and sorting breads for delivery
• Repeatedly stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and cleaning all equipment, benches, and floors after each shift

Qualifications and Education Requirements

While previous experience is helpful, we are dedicated to training and developing our staff. Positivity, grit, and a willingness to learn are all you need to become a professional baker.
