Dover Food Retail in Conyers, GA is seeking a Brazing Technician to install refrigeration components. You will measure, cut, bend, and braze copper and steel tubing, perform leak checks, and help layout units according to standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and the ability to read safety rules and manuals. Strong math skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 3–6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Responsabilités

• Measure, cut, bend, assemble and install copper and steel tubing.
• Use Torch to apply solder, braze copper to copper pipes.
• Operate tube cutters, hand vise, power benders, files, flaring/swedging tools, torch.
• Pressurizes and leak checks units.
• Assist with unit layout and setup in accordance with established standards.
