Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Piper I at our Conyers, GA facility to perform brazing and install refrigeration components. You will assist with unit layout and setup, following established standards and safety practices.

The role requires brazing copper to copper, tube fitting, and basic piping tasks, using a variety of tools. Onsite work supports our refrigeration equipment manufacturing and quality goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3–6 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements.
• Ability to write reports and present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, assemble and install copper and steel tubing.
• Use Torch to apply solder, braze copper to copper pipes.
• Brazing Fundamentals.
• Operate Copper Saw.
• Operate Tube Bender.
• Flare Making.
• Suction Piping.
• Discharge Piping.
• Pressurizes and leak checks units.
