Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a skilled brazing technician to install refrigeration components and assist with unit layout. You will measure, cut, bend, and assemble copper and steel tubing, braze copper joints, and perform leak checks on installed units.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3–6 months related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to write reports and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, assemble and install copper and steel tubing.
• Brazing copper to copper pipes using torch.
• Operate tube bending and flaring tools; perform leak tests.
• Piping and layout tasks for refrigeration components.
