Schaeffler is hiring an Operator III - Brazing for the 1st shift in Wooster, Ohio. The role focuses on setting up machines, monitoring production, and ensuring quality and safety standards on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include tooling, process control, inspection, and collaboration with maintenance to minimize downtime. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preferrence for experience and Blueprint reading skills.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to operate complex machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order information.
• Check production status within and between production sequences and take action on deviations.
• Operate machines and follow documented procedures and processes.
• Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects and discard defective parts, following proper protocol.
• Support maintenance in repair and downtime prevention and inspection of machines.
• Follow safety and PPE rules at all times.
