Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a skilled brazing/assembly associate to work from supervisor instructions, selecting torch components, and preparing copper tubing fixtures. You will assemble parts using templates, apply flux, and hand braze to achieve leak-free seams while maintaining dimensional accuracy.

This role emphasizes quality, documentation of production and safety, with a strong focus on clean, safe work areas and adherence to diagrams and test specs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs while standing.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads supervisor instructions and selects torch tip, flux, and brazing alloy.
• Cuts copper tubing to required length and assembles parts using templates.
• Braze assemblies to create leak-free joints and apply foam insulation.
• Tests joints for leaks under high pressure and records results.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and accurate production records.
